Can somebody explain me the different between saving and publishing.
Not just save = save to ur computer, publish = user can access or
whatever. I want to know something more complex more specific

Any ideas?

Hello,

I guess it would be better if you can explain the scenario in which you
would like to use it. Since you already know what they does.

Hi, that has been puzzling me too !
Just talking for Infopath :
- Publish is used only for templates (xsn) ; even if you publish your form
document on Sharepoint, that is not publish, but save.
- When you ask Save as, you fall into the Publish wizard, and when you ask
Publish you also fall in the traditionnal Windows Save as dialog box.

Do not worry, that as no importance for your work, until you do not need to
explain it, as a teacher or as a book writer :))

Anyway I suggest that MS give us a more precise glossary as soon as possible.
