save word 2007 equations to word 2003

How to save an mswordequation from word 2007 to word 2003.
The equations most stay an equation, no graphic!

Word 2003 is not forwards compatible and cannot accommodate new features
introduced with Word 2007 such as the new equation function. Word 2007 can
however still use the old equation editor if installed. Insert > Object >
Microsoft Equation 3.0
