Hi

Is there a way to auto save or write VBA/macro to save the current document
in PDF format without prompt in MS Word 2003?

cheers.

Word 2003 does not have the ability to save directly to .pdf format as does
Word 2007.

IF you have a .pdf creation program such as Adobe or one of the free clones
(Primo PDF). they appear as a Printer to Word and you can use the Printout
command to create a pdf if you first select the appropriate "printer".
Adobe and (some of the free clones) can be configured to not ask for the
file name in which case, they will automatically name the output with the
name of the source file.

The simplest solution is to print to the PDF driver - see
http://www.gmayor.com/fax_from_word.htm - but the resulting pdf does not
take advantage of the range of functions provided by the Acrobat add in. For
that you need a more in depth knowledge of the Acrobat object library.
