Saved MUD file

J

John Chavez

Hi Everyone,

I got a good one.

I saved the entire MUD file to a back-up HD. Then moved the MUD file to my
new
MacBook Pro with the same E-rage 11.2.5.

The data has not changed. CAL/NOTES/ADDRESS/MAIL have not changed.

Is this a ³DB Engine² problem?

What do you recommend?

Thank you,

John Chavez

Hmm... Did you mention a problem?

Are you saying that the fact that the data hasn't changed is a problem?
I would think you would *want* the data to be exactly the same after
you copied it.

Can you add data to it? Can you view it? It could be a permissions problem
on the Microsoft User Data folder. Name it as Old Microsoft User Data folder
and let Entourage create a new one. Check permissions on the newly created
folder and compare with the one that was copied over.

Do you mean the old data that used to be in the MBP is still displaying,
instead of the data you just moved over?

If so, if you deleted the old mud folder and copied the new one into the
same place you will need to log out and back in again - the database daemon
will then pick up the new database.
