Saved records not displaying in subform

I have subform in datasheet view whose record source is a query of a main
table and a lookup table. For some reason occasionally records that are
saved in the main table will not display in this subform. Any idea why this
might be? Let me know if you need extra information. So far my only
solution is to delete the record from the table and let my users reenter the
information.
