Saved Word Documents are changing automatically.

All of my microsoft word documets are not being saved as I have created them.
The fonts all go back to "10", graphics disapear, and my documets are then
followed by what seems to be system information or a breakdown of my
document. Example: The words usually that appear following my document are as
follows: Normal, Heading 1, Default Paragraph Font, john c:/documents and
settings...., Symbols, Un knowny, New Times Roman etc and on it goes. How do
I stop this from happining?

Suzanne,
The answer was so simple that I should have tripped over it! Thank you for
your help. I'm still trying to figure out how and where to rate answers from
this group?? I will ask one more thing about Word. At times when I click
"close" or "X" on a word document, the little hour glass comes on and then
the entire word program closes asking me if I want to send an error report to
Microsoft. I can get the document back,but it's a pain when it happens. Any
suggestions on why this happens?

deals with the causes of problems not only opening Word but also closing it
(and the same sources can cause problems in using it as well). Beyond that,
I don't have a specific answer.

As for rating, I think there should be a button saying something about the
message being helpful to you?
