Saved workbooked and it protected the workbook

I did a save as and highlighted all the pages in the
workbook. The workbook has a protection on it now and it
can't be edited and you can't unprotect it.
Did this happen because I highlighted all the pages in the

I'm assuming you high lighted the sheets THEN did a save as.
I don't think it was the fact that you high lighted the pages
and did a save as. I just tried this and couldn't duplicate
your problem. What version of Excel are you using?

Is this your first time using this file and you noticed this, or has it been
working normally and now all of a sudden this problem?.........if the
latter, try downloading it from your original source again and try it all
over again.........if the former, the file may have a ChangeEvent macro that
causes it to do the protection thing..........
