Saving a bookmark to be used in other documetns

I read another thread about inserting a barcode, which was answered by Jay
Freedman. Very helpful indeed. It mentioned adding a PostNet barcode in one
of two ways:

1. entering a field code such as
BARCODE \U 12345
2. Using a Bookmark.

My question is how to create a Bookmark and save it so that it can be used
in all future documents as well.

Thanks a lot,

Sorry, that's not the way bookmarks work. While you can save the _contents_ of a
bookmark (in a separate document, or as an AutoText or AutoCorrect entry), the
bookmark itself -- the indication of where it starts and where it stops -- is
specific to the document where you created it. When you go to another document,
you have to create a new bookmark there.

You cannot do this. A bookmark refers to a specific location in a
specific document. It has no meaning with reference to another document.
