saving a calculated b-day value

I am calculating the age field of a volunteer by their birthdate i.e. i
I input 12/29/1979 into the birthdate field the age field automaticall
calculates that I'm 23 years old and inputs 23 in the age field.
However, in my volunteers table it doesn't save the calculated ag
value. Is there a way to save it in the table? I need the age fo
demographic reporting.
