Saving a Document

When I try to save a Office Document I click save as. then, when the save as
windows comes up I hit the save in drop down box and office goes into a not
responding mode (freezes). I have reinstalled Office and still the same thing
happens. Any suggestions? Office 2003 Pro

Do you have an "unconnected" remote or network drive? If so, you will
have to either "unmap" it, or wait till the system gives up waiting for
it to respond.
