I am new at this. I want to know how to save an access file that is open to a compact disk. I was working in access, now I am finish and I have to save it to my CD inorder for my instructor to check it.

Presumably you've created the MDB on your harddrive. Burn that file to CD

I'd suggest closing Access and simply copying the file to the CD,
using Internet Explorer or My Computer.
