Hello,
I'm persuaded by what's said at Word:mac that it's a good idea to use a
global template (other than the Normal template) for macros etc that I
want to be available in all my documents. So I created a Global Template
in the Startup folder. If I go to Tools > Templates and Add-ins, I can
see that Global Template is loaded.
Now suppose I want to record a macro which will be available for all
documents. Presumably I need to store the macro in Global Template. But,
when I go to Tools > Macro > Record New Macro, the only options under
"Store Macro In" are "All Documents (Normal)" (which I assume means
"Normal, so that the macro will be available for all documents", right?)
and the current document. There is no sign of Global Template, and I
don't see any way of browsing to it. Does this mean I have to save the
macro to either Normal or the current document, and then copy it to
Global Template with the Organizer? I have a feeling I'm missing
something here.
Thanks,
Jacques
