Saving a New Contact Form

Nikki DeStefani

Ok so I designed a contact form were using for out
tenants only and I have a new folder in Contacts called
tenants.

Problem is when I open and save it still saves the
contacts in the deafult contact folder called CONTACTS.
Is there a way to make the Newly designed form default to
my folder called TENANTS inside of CONTACTS.

If u can figure this out let me know. I know there is a
way but its been so long since Ive done it. Please email
me directly to (e-mail address removed). Thanks

Nikki

The usual solution is to make the custom form the default for the Tenants folder. (See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/newdefaultform.htm) To create a new entry, you go to that folder then click New. It is possible, however, to put code behind a form to force it to save to a particular folder, no matter how you launch the form. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/olforms/saveinfolder.htm for a sample.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues -- microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.
