Saving a new excel file in hard disc

Hi,
I would like to create an excel file at runtime and like to save it at a
specific location in the database while running the windows application. How
can I do it programmaticaly? Any pointer would be very helpful.

This is a Macintosh Excel newsgroup - are you talking about "running the
windows application" in Parallels or Bootcamp? If not, you may want to
choose a Windows-based XL newsgroup, say,
microsoft.public.excel.programming.

I'm not sure what you mean by saving a file at a specific location in
the database, either. Perhaps more detail would help.
