Saving a report

Hi

I am trying to save out the following report in Project 2007 but there does
not appear to be a save option:

Report - Reports - Select Assignments - Select To Do List.

I only seem to be able to Print them but I really would like to save them
and then send to my client so they can see exactly the tasks they are
involved in.

Does anybody know how I can save these out?

(I would also like to do the same with the Milestone reports)

Thanks

Hello Jo,

Project does not have the capability of saving a report as a separate
object. However, installing a PDF printer will allow you to "print"
to the PDF writer and save it as a PDF file that you can sent to your
clients.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi JulieS

Thanks for responding so quickly. Unfortunately that does not work either. I
have a PDF writer already which I use but in this report function, MS Project
does not let you Print to PDF.

Any more ideas?

Some of these reports are great and I can't understand why we can save them
and send them to team members or clients. Weird!

Hi Jo,

I'm not sure I follow why you can't use the PDF printer. Project does
have the ability to print to PDF. It's just that you can't select a
different printer driver from the Print command out of Print Preview.
Try the following:
Close the report.
Go to File > Print and select the PDF printer.
Click cancel
Then preview your report. When you click the Print button, you should
have your PDF printer selected in the printer list.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
