saving a Search for something I use regularly - not working in Out

I used to be able to Save a search for something that happened throughout the
year eg all my days off for the next couple of months, saved as RB off.
I could then print this list off to pin on the wall in my kitchen.
Outlook 2007 does not let me save these searches as I could in Outlook '03 &
I have a number of very useful but unusable Searches saved to be run whenever
required, usually with Advance Condition parameters, eg Start date from Today.
Is there a way I can make my Outlook '07 'pull' these Searches up & run
them? The Save Search in the Advanced search box is greyed out on the File
dropdown.
