Saving a Visio chart in .pdf format

I'm frequently asked to send .pdf versions of Visio drawings to co-workers
because they are unable to open the charts in Visio. Sometimes the drawings
look the same in .pdf, othertimes they format somewhat differently. Is there
a trick to saving large drawings in .pdf version? The example I'm working on
now is putting numbers in various places in the .pdf version and removing
some numbers completely. Thanks.

Instead of converting the Visio file to pdf you can print to Adobe pdf in
your printer list. The pdf will look exactly as it does on your screen.

One other thought...you need to make sure your PDF printer setting is set to
no more than 600 dpi. I believe the default is 1200. I had many problems
with missing text and text changing sizes when going from Visio (2002) to PDF
(Acrobat 7.0) until I changes the printer settings. Now, all is well....

How can I print to Adobe pdf???

So I don't need a 3rd party utility to save a Visio diagram as a pdf???

Thanks!
