Saving a .vsd as a .dxf oor .dwg

I tried to save a .vsd file as a .dwg AutoCad or .dxf file. It ssemd to
start OK then nothing happened. The computer acted like it was doing
something but never finished. I left it running for approoximately and hour
on one occasion.

This was on VISIO 2002 SP1
