saving a word file to disc

Hello, I would like to know if I could save a word
document that is 2335 KB in size on a cd? It is too big
for one floppy and i thought possibly a cd would work.
Is this possible and is there a special type of cd?
Thanks

The best procedure (been mentioned here many times by the MVP's) is to save
the file to your local hard drive and then COPY to a CD.

Saving a Word file directly to either a floppy or CD is very likely to
result in either a corrupted or non-working file before too long.
