How do I do this? I have used DoCmd.OutputTo, acOutputReport but I do not
seem able to specify a format that will open the report in pdf.

Thanks!

You would have to install PDF writer software. Most of these act as virtual
printers. You print your report specifying the PDF writer as the printer. The
PDF software will prompt you for a file name and location and then create the
file at that location.

There are numerous free PDF writers, but these have somewhat limited
capabilities to be controlled from code.

Take a look at MVP Stephen Lebans free download... ReportToPDF... at
http://www.lebans.com/reporttopdf.htm.

I've had such good luck with a very out-of-date copy of Adobe Acrobat,
originally bought from a surplus software dealer, and even then
not-current-version, that I've never bothered to update.
