Saving all plans to offline

How will I code a macro to save all plans offline, instead of manually
saving each file offline. It is a long and tedious job.

I know that 'Active Project' sets it to the open file, but is there
something completely opposite (since I don't want to open all the
plans)?

Any ideas?

What do you mean by "offline?" Do you mean File - Save Offline? Or do you
mean File - Save As - Save as File and then save as an .mp file? And why in
the world would you want to do either of these for all projects in your
system?

Yeah, Offline meaning File - Save Offline

Currently, I have to save each file to be offline each month so that we
do our end-month financials. Once we are finished with that in a few
days, we check all the plans in back to online.

If you want to write a macro for this, you should post this message in the
microsoft.public.project.developer newsgroup. I still don't understand your
puprose in wanting to save every projct as an Offline project. What are you
trying to accomplish, or prevent, by this action?

Are you trying to stop team members from submitting actuals for their task
work? Are you trying to stop your PM's from updating their projects so that
you can do the end of month financials? In the first case, your action will
not stop team members from submiting actuals to their PM's in PWA. In the
second case, you will prevent your PM's from being able to open, update, or
change any of their projects, but wouldn't it be simpler to use a business
process instead? Just a thought.
