Saving .asp page locks FP

Hello-
I have been using FP2003 a number of years on XP. I now use a new computer with Vista Home Premium. When I try to save an .asp page, FP2003 beeps at me and locks up. Nothing in FP is active after the "Save." I must go to Task Manager to quit the program. Asp is enabled in the Authoring tab of Page Options. Any ideas why this happens?
