Saving attachments from an email to Share Point Portal Website of the project

Hello Everyone,

I have an uncommon requirement or may be not :) Our organization
wants to save attachments belonging to any correspondence related to
a project to be saved in the Share Point Workspace for that particular
project. This is kind of a move to archive all the documents related
to a project and avoid missing any important documents related to a
project. Of course, the email sender will have to explicitly cc it to
a specific email address.

We want this to be done automatically. Every time an email is sent to
a specific email address, the attachment part of that email will be
saved in the documents list for that particular project.

Was wondering if any one had done this and could direct me to the
right direction?

PS: We are using the Lotus Notes as our email program.
