Saving baselines

Hi,
I have two projects - suppose P1 and P2. P1 is the project file that all
the engineers update and P2 is the global master which the executives view.
P2 is created using links (dependencies) from projects like P1. When
engineers update P1 and save the baseline from TOOLS>Tracking>Save Baselines
- the baseline for P1 gets updated but P2 shows NA. What am I doing wrong?

There's no link established to the baseline information; you simply have a
start date or finish date driver defined.

I did a task dependency from predecessors. How do I establish link to the
baseline information?

you can't link to it, the best you can do is copy it.
