Saving Custom Menus

Hi, I inherited an excel file that already has custom menus. I need
to delete a few menu commands from it and add another. I did this ans
also assigned a macro to a button in the menu. It works fine until I
save it and try to repoen the file. When I open it none of the custom
menu revisions were made (however, the new macro that i wrote is still
in the VBA editor). Can someone please let me know how to save the
menu revisions?

Perhaps the menu is being built dynamically.

Check in the ThisWorkbook code module and see if there is anything the
Workbook_Open routine, or it calls another procedure.

There's an auto_open procedure that has the line:
Application.CommandBars("Main Menu").Visible = True

When you exit out of the program there's another macro that runs that
has the following line
Application.CommandBars("Main Menu").Delete

When I added new buttons to the "Main Menu" bar, I just saved the
workbook normally (File > Save As). Is there an option to save the
latest changes in the "Main Menu" toolbar?
