Hello experts,
Ok, so I have a bald spot now from pulling my hair out for the last 2 solid
days and searching this board trying to find an answer to what surely should
be an EASY thing.
I'm working on an XP machine in Word 2007 Professional. All I want to do is
set up a CUSTOM Number/Bullet format and have Word SAVE it for use ALL the
time. The custom set up I want is the following:
1.)
A.)
I.)
a.)
i.)
I have done everything I can think of in Word2007 to get this to stick.. all
with to no avail. I've tried it under the Paragraph group, Define New List,
Define New MultiLevel, creating a new style and NOTHING will hold the style.
The closest I got was creating a New Multi-Level. But, Word2007 will not
DEFAULT to this numbering list. I have to get in there, get started and then
mess around with finding it and changing it.
Please tell me MS didn't go in and eliminate the ability to customize and
DEFAULT something as simple as bulleting and numbering??
Thanks,
avi
