Saving defaults using Word as e-mail editor

I have a couple of people using Outlook 2000 Rich Text
Format and with Word as the e-mail editor. One is trying
to save the zoom % at 100 (currently defaulting to 75) for
new mail messages. The other one is trying to change the
Style from List to Normal in a new mail message. They
will change for the current session, but once they exit
outlook and come back in, the old defaults are still
there. Is there a way to fix this?

Make the changes in MS WORD. Outlook uses
MS Words settings.
