Saving diagrams into .png format the quality is pretty low

When you draw two black default lines. One which is diagonal and one which is
vertical. Then you select both of them and File - Save as and put a name for
the file and select file type to "Portable Network Graphics (*.png).

If you open that file you can see that diagonal line is not sharp and
vertical line is gray.

Does anyone have idea why it is so ?

In previous V2003 the pictures were much better.

When you save the drawing make sure that the size and resolution are
set to printer or source rather than screen.

But if I need to look that from the screen I like look sharp pictures.

If you are saving at screen resolution you will be getting 96dpi,
source resolution will be 600dpi or more.
However, if you want really clean lines then a vector format may be
better than PNG, try WMF, EMF or SVG.

Okay that helps !

On V2003 I used default settings and always got useful pictures.
