Saving Email Address in Contacts

Recently, every time I try to enter an email address for a
contact, when I hit Enter (or Tab), the entry just
disappears. I tried to send an email to my new work
address, but I get an error message that the address
doesn't exist. Of course, when I try to change my email
address to the new one in my own profile, it simply
disappears. I can't even create a new contact. Outlook
will not accept an email address. How can I fix this?
BTW, I have downloaded all the patches and updates
available. Thanks.

Do you have any idea what started this behavior? Did you make any recent
changes to your installation or configuration? Have you checked your
Personal Folders File for errors using the Inbox Repair Tool?
