Saving email messages in outlook 2003

During the upgrade from 2002 outlook to outlook 2003 I lost all of my emails
in my inbox. (800+).
Our email system doesn't back-up to a server.
I would like to move my emails to a storage deivice that I can carry around
and then move to a CD. Is this possible?
If not, how should I save a copy of my emails?

Perhaps not. Look for other PSTs on your hard drive. They're usually in a
hidden fodler, so be sure to enable viewing of hidden files and folders.
