saving email to open on another computer

I want to save all my old email on a disk or hard drive but I want to be able
to open again on down the line or on another computer.. How would I do it.
Basically I want to clean up my computer but don't want to delete all my
important email. I am on a laptop and need to free up space.

Use the Archive function (File/Archive). This will create and move messages
to a PST file, which you can open with outlook on another computer.
