saving embedded objects

I have a Word document, Office 2003, with embedded wav-files. Is there any
way I can save these wav-files to the hard disk?

If you drag the file out of the document to the desktop, what happens?

I get an OLE Object scrap file...

I solved it by opening an extra instances of sound recorder. Having one
instance up, right clicking the object and choose "edit". When it opens in
sound recorder - "Edit - Copy", focus on the first insctance of sound
recorder - "Edit - Paste Into".

Easy once you think about it, it was getting the idea that took time :)
