Saving error

Hi, I have a problem when trying to save a MS word document on to m
comptuer. When I attempt to save, I can't, it will start making
wierd sound. I must then put in a floppy disk or it wont save an
then a 'Not responding' error occurs, if you have any idea what i
might be I would be grateful

Are you attempting to save to the floppy drive?
If so, don't. Always save to you HD and copy to the floppy and v/v.
