Saving files as graphics

In MSWord for pc's, it is possible to select a group of items on a page
and save them as a jpeg. Is this possible in Word 2004 for Mac?

It should be, but it may depend on what type of 'objects' you select.

Once you select them, Cmd+Click one of them & choose Save As Picture from
the shortcut menu. The default format is PNG, but you can open the Format:
list & pick JPEG.

Hi Dakota,

In addition to CyberTaz's suggestion, you can always use Shift+Apple+4
to create a selection cursor. Drag the cursor over any screen area. When
you let go of the mouse a picture of the selected area is created on the
desktop.
