Saving files

I recently upgraded to Office XP pro and notice now some
of my saved files (filename.xls or filename.doc etc)
appear in blue while othere appear in black. Can anyone
tell me what the difference is and why Office XP does
this? THANKS!!!

Older files have been compressed by your operating system to save
harddrive space and indicates this has been done by showing the file
name colored in blue.
