Hi.
My question is: is it possible to save an xls spreadsheet
that contains japanese, taiwanese, and chinese characters
as a CSV file without losing the country-specific
formatting? I figured out how to preserve leading zeros
by changing the columns to text before saving as csv and
then opening the new file in a text editor. Thanks! This
solution doesn't seem to work for the foreign language
characters however, since it seems like the only language
CSV recognizes is English....
Specifically, the error I'm encountering is that the
cells with the foreign language characters all show up
as '???'. Help! I must have these characters in CSV file
format.
Even if you could point me to a link which has downloads
for other language packs compatible with CSV, I would be
greatly appreciative.
Thanks in advance!
