Saving Headers/footers as hard text in RTF

I'm experimenting with a simple VFP8 program to display Word docs converted
to RTF. Problem is that the M$ RTF OCX control does not display
header/footer and ... sider? (Line numbers) from the saved RTF file. I
know the codes are there, because if I open up the RTF file in Word they
display (they do not display in WordPad).

I looked through the customization options of Word 2002 SP 1 and cannot find
anything. I tried printing to file and that obviously does not work.

Anyone know if there is a way to embed page breaks and header/footer info so
it displays properly in a RTF file? I want to save the Doc as it would
print as an RTF file (similar to what happens when you convert to a PDF).

Any ideas? TIA!
