saving image in the document

I'm opening an HTML document in word and then saving it as a word document

The HTML document has a link to a gi

I'd like to save this gif in the document (I'm doing all this programatically - from VB

how can I do this

Select the GIF in the document (which will be an IncludePicture field) and
press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to unlink the picture and embed it in the document.

In that case you might do better to ask in one of the word.vba NGs.
