Saving information from a checked out projected

One of my project managers had an enterprise project open all day, made a
bunch of changes to the project plan and didn't save it. His local system
hundup and now the project needs to be checkin from the server end. Is there
anyway to get the information form the local machine?

If his computer is locked up, I'm afraid he is going to lose all of his
changes. Hope this helps.
