To manage the size of each user's inbox, as well as to allow archiving of
individual messages (not in a .pst file) so that other user's may move and
archive project-related emails, our company has been simply dragging and
dropping emails from the inbox into explorer folders -- thereby creating .msg
files.
We have, as yet not come across a way to organize these files by date --
other than the arduous and time-consuming task of opening each individual
message and renaming the file with the appropriate date and time. Upon
creation of the .msg file, the date accessed, modified, and created are the
moment the file is dropped in the folder.
There must be an easier way.
