saving my autotext entries

all the autotext entries are stored in the templates,
usually called Normal.dot (you might have autotext stored
in other templates as well)

Simply copy the file named Normal.dot (use search to find
it and make a note of the location), then copy it into the
same place on your laptop

You don't necessarily want to save Normal.dot from an older version to a new
computer (or any computer on which you may already have customized
Normal.dot), but if you rename it and copy it to the new HD, you can use
Organizer (Tools | Templates and Add-ins | Organizer), you can transfer
AutoText entries from your old Normal.dot to the new one.
