saving navigation pane settings

Completely up to date on all updates

When I move the navigation pane buttons to show only icons for contacts,
calendar, etc., they go back to original when I exit and restart Outlook.

MEA CULPA! When I checked the shortcut to start outlook, it was set to safe
mode from an earlier problem I had. Once I removed the /safe, it saved my
settings.

Sorry for the bother.
