Saving news to onenote?

I use Windows mail as my newsreader. Is there any way to save the newsgroup
posts etc by a send to onenote button? Similar to the way I save my mail
from Outlook? Its a much overlooked feature I think.

Windows Mail isn't integrated with OneNote. You can do it though by
copying & pasting an entire message. To do that, in the message list,
select the message and then use Edit Menu, Copy. Then paste this into
OneNote. You should see the message pasted in a similar format to when
you use the send to onenote button from within Outlook.

Not exactly - but what about using the Print to OneNote feature? What
version of OneNote are you using?

Any way to use a shortcut for a print to OneNote? That will do nicely under
the circumstances..

IMHO using copy and paste (as Patrick suggested) has quite some
advantages over printing.
