Saving old email to cd - Help!!! Out of drive space.

I need to move all my old emails form the hard drive to a CD. The CD requires me to run the individaul writing software. Can anyone help me ? I wold like ot be able to access the CD to read the mail again in the future as well. Also any attachments I would like to move them as well

What version of Outlook are you using and which operating system?

You can create an archive on a CD but you cannot read directly from it within Outlook. If you want to search the archive, you will have to copy that file back to your hard disk before you read the messages in Outlook.
