saving/opening window sizes and positions

Is there a way in Word 2008 to save the size and screen position of a document window when you save the document? Word 2004 did this automatically, and when I open Word 2004 documents in Word 2008, the size and screen position are retained. But every new Word 2008 file I save and open appears in a default size and position. Any suggestions? I know this might seem trivial, but it's one of those small things that is repeatedly annoying. Thanks for your help.

It's supposed to work exactly the same way in the new version that it did in
the old: A document should open in the view it was last saved in.

Something got broken, and I assume they will fix it soon.

Please use the "Send Feedback" mechanism to report this to Microsoft, and
don't forget to state your OS version and level so they can reproduce the
problem exactly. The more reports they get of this, the sooner they will
fix it!

Hope this helps
