saving original file name

how may i open and save Office 2k documents with their original name, instead of FileName1,2,3 etc? thanks ks

You should be able to do this just by clicking on the Save button, pressing
Ctrl+S, or using File | Save. If you are being taken to the Save As dialog
when you want to save a document, then:

1. There's some virus afoot.

2. You've got some weird document management system involved.

3. The "document" you opened is actually a template, and you didn't actually
open it but instead created a new file based on it.

4. The document you opened was in use (or Word thought it was) and therefore
opened read-only, so that you can only save a copy.
