You should be able to do this just by clicking on the Save button, pressing
Ctrl+S, or using File | Save. If you are being taken to the Save As dialog
when you want to save a document, then:
1. There's some virus afoot.
2. You've got some weird document management system involved.
3. The "document" you opened is actually a template, and you didn't actually
open it but instead created a new file based on it.
4. The document you opened was in use (or Word thought it was) and therefore
opened read-only, so that you can only save a copy.
