saving outlook e-mail photo to other than bitmap

when I right click to save a e-mail photo , it only gives me BITMAP file
option. I have to send them to other e-mail site to save them as jpeg or
TIFF. Is there a way to change how I save photos in OUTLOOK?

Thats' normal.
There is some code you can implement that will allow embedded images to be
saved in their original format.
