Saving picture as GIF

Everytime I try to save a picture as a Gif, Outlook (within Office
2003) will not let me and insists it be saved as a bitmp. I want to
save as a Gif and retain the animation.

I figure it has something to do with Outlook configuration, something
I missing, as if I send the same thing to a gmail account it quite
happily saves as a Gif.

Any suggestions? Thanks
Sheena

lucretia borgia,
Your Temporary Internet Files may be full, causing this problem.

1. Close OUTLOOK> Open IE> TOOLS> Internet Options> General tab> Temporary
Internet Files section> Select Delete Files> Check box to include Offline
Content> Wait to this is accomplished.

2. Reopen OUTLOOK> Select Message> Now try saving the Image file.
