Saving pictures as .jpeg

I might not be in the right newsgroup but maybe someone can help me. I just got a new Dell compueter and am using Microsoft Office picture manager. I tend to save a lot of pictures that i get from the web. However some pictures don't allow me to save them as .jpeg. They only allow me to save them as .art and .bmp. I know the pictures that i am saving are .jpegs. Is there something that i am doing wrong

Please help or point me in the right directio

A group for your version of Internet Explorer may have been better but
try this:

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
