saving pictures from powerpoint 2003 slideshow

I would like to know if there is a way to save pictures from a slideshow
presentation that has been sent to you by email. Is there a way to save the
image onto your pc? I have done it once where I was able to go into my
powerpoint program and being able to choose to view my pictures as is or by
the slideshow. When I viewed them "as is", I was able to save the pictures.
I would like some help as to how to do that. Thanks.

Open the PPT file and go to File|Save As. There's a "save as type" drop-down
box at the bottom of the Save As dialog. Choose an image type there.
